Economy on Zakynthos

It goes without of saying, that the most important part of the zakynthian economy is tourism.

Agricultural produce is on the second place. The products are olives and oliveoil, vine, grapes and raisins, vegetables and fruits.>

The big number of fisherboats stay in opposite of the small amount of economic income that fishing means today for the Island ( overfishing ) Because of the tourism there is enough wealth for the sector of service industries/enterprises.

Also building trade is until now in a good shape.
